Ayurveda (/ˌɑːjʊərˈveɪdə, -ˈviː-/) is an alternative medicine system with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent. Therapies include herbal medicines , special diets , meditation , yoga , massage , laxatives , enemas , and medical oils. Ayurvedic recipes help us to detoxify the human body.
It incorporates mostly herbs, fresh vegetables and fruits, milk and dairy products, oils and ghee and plenty of water in the diet. The consumption of meat, fish, eggs, should be restricted.
