The health insurance companies only cover the costs for psychotherapists and Psychotherapist for children and adolescents. For example a alternative practitioners offers a gestalt therapy, the health insurance companies no pay that.

  • Specialists for psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy (German: Fachärzte für Psychosomatische Medizin und Psychotherapie)
  • Medical psychotherapists (German: Ärztliche Psychotherapeuten)
  • Psychiatrists (German: Fachärzte für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie)

  • Medical psychotherapists and pediatricians (Fachärzte für Kinder‐ und Jugendpsychiatrie und Psychotherapie)
